We are looking for a Senior / Principal Consultant to join our Climate and Sustainability Portfolio as the UKIMEA Regional Nature Services Co-Ordinator. In this role, you will work alongside our Regional Nature Services Director to promote client development, pursuit planning, work winning, and project delivery. You will help develop the community of practice for nature-related practitioners and work with relevant networks to promote and communicate nature-related issues internally and externally.
Your responsibilities include:
- Mapping existing and potential nature work across the UK.
- Engaging with major clients to understand drivers and opportunities.
- Reviewing current skills levels within teams, identifying gaps, and planning reskilling or recruitment.
- Aiming to secure major nature projects and increase market segments in targeted areas (e.g., water, transport, energy transmission, renewable generation).
- Enhancing Arup’s profile in the sector through presentations and collaborations.
- Working with the Nature Working Group to secure investment for staff training.
- Contributing to developing digital nature offerings for clients.
This role is based within any of our UK office locations.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Education to degree level, preferably a master’s degree.
- Membership of relevant industry bodies.
- Knowledge of nature-guided projects.
