This is an opportunity to influence multi-disciplinary water projects within a global engineering firm that prioritises sustainability and resilience. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Private medical insurance /li li Life assurance /li li Accident insurance /li li Income protection /li li Profit Share /li li Flexible benefits /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead development, calibration and review of 1D/2D hydraulic models using Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, InfoWorks or similar software /li li Act as Technical Lead on major flood risk and infrastructure projects /li li Provide expert advice to clients, project teams and stakeholders /li li Oversee hydrological assessments and flood risk studies /li li Ensure modelling outputs inform appraisal, business cases and engineering design /li li Manage project delivery, quality, budgets and programmes /li li Support bids and framework opportunities across the region /li li Mentor and develop junior engineers, modellers and graduates /li li Contribute to technical innovation and best practice across the business /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment /li li Expertise in Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, InfoWorks or equivalent platforms /li li Solid understanding of UK flood risk policy, FCERM guidance and regulatory requirements /li li Experience leading technical teams and managing project delivery /li li Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills /li li Passion for mentoring and developing others /li li Chartered status (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent) is desirable but not essential for the right candidate /li /ul ul li Stakeholder management /li li Client-facing communication /li li Mentoring and coaching /li li Hydraulic modelling /li li Flood risk assessment /li li Flood Modeller /li /ul
