Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's qualification in a relevant field, such as Carbon and/or Climate Change Management, Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science.
- Knowledge in carbon assessment and modelling, including the development of mitigation strategies.
- Appreciation of UK and devolved administration policy and regulatory frameworks for carbon and climate.
- Relevant chartership or actively working towards chartership (e.g. Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv, CEng) – desirable).
Responsibilities
- Undertake carbon assessments and provide advice on decarbonisation for a range of infrastructure and energy projects.
- Run carbon workshops with developers and design teams.
- Conduct whole-life carbon assessment for major infrastructure projects and other developments.
- Perform technical reviews of others' carbon modelling.
- Reinforce carbon management advice to external and internal stakeholders.
- Support business development activities including expressions of interest, proposals, networking and client engagement.
- Develop and convey expertise in carbon and climate change to enhance our services and train colleagues.
