Arup’s purpose, shared values, and collaborative approach have set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
The Arup people function is undergoing an exciting period of transformation. As we move towards a new operating model, we are streamlining our processes and aligning our delivery on a global scale, to ensure that we provide an excellent member experience aligned to our values.
The Opportunity
The Reward Partner reports to the Global Reward Director and sits within the Reward Community of Expertise (CoE). The Reward CoE team works across our organisation matrix spanning five regions, our global functions, and over 30 countries to deliver our ambitious Global Reward Strategy, within the context of the overall Arup Strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert reward advice and guidance as well as shaping, delivering, and monitoring reward solutions and activity to ensure we position ourselves well in the marketplaces in which we operate and provide an excellent member experience.
This role works closely with global and regional people-team colleagues and the business leaders of our regions and global portfolios and functions. Your stakeholders will be some of the most senior leaders in Arup, so it is essential for you to communicate effectively and have the knowledge and confidence to influence and challenge assumptions.
Is this role right for you?
We are looking for people who:
- Have a good understanding of a professional services environment, operating through a matrixed structure, at a global level.
- Have a broad-ranging and in-depth knowledge and experience of reward.
- Can understand the local context and needs of their region and represent these at a global level whilst also proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement for Arup as a whole.
- Have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, interpret data to tell a compelling story, and provide actionable insights.
- Have strong change management and project delivery, with a track record of successfully implementing reward initiatives.
What we offer you
At Arup, we care about each member’s success, so we can grow together. Guided by our values, we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success. As well as competitive, fair, and equitable pay, we offer a career in which all of our members can belong, grow, and thrive – through benefits that support health and wellbeing, a wide range of learning opportunities, and many possibilities to have an impact through the work they do.

We are committed to making our recruitment process and workplaces accessible to all candidates. Please contact Liz Wigley at to let us know if you need any assistance or reasonable adjustments throughout your application or interview process, and/or to perform the essential functions of the role.
