Working alongside the Executive Assistant (EA), the role contributes to efficient, trusted and collaborative leadership support, enabling Leaders and the wider team to deliver high‑quality outcomes aligned with Arup’s purpose and values.
The role requires proactive planning, sound judgement, and the ability to anticipate needs, adapt to change, and operate with discretion in a complex environment. At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas. You will have the opportunity to do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.
Is this role right for you? You enjoy delivering trusted, high‑quality support and take pride in planning, organising and anticipating what’s needed to help others succeed. You bring strong administrative and project support skills, communicate clearly and professionally, and operate confidently within established systems and processes to keep work moving smoothly.
We are seeking the following skills and attributes:
- Strong understanding of office administration and PA practices and a confident user of digital tools and administrative systems.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, sound judgement, tact and professionalism.
- Calm and confident when working under pressure or managing competing priorities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond positively to change.
- Flexibility to be in the office for up to 5 days (when necessary).
