Overview
In this role you will lead the creation of structural BIM models and drawings to communicate designs, driving collaborative BIM delivery across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders, support project governance and information management, and mentor junior staff. The position offers exposure to diverse, high-profile projects worldwide and the chance to influence delivery standards and innovation within Arup’s Building Engineering Team.

Responsibilities
- Produce structural BIM models and drawings to communicate designs
- Act as a focal point for collaborative BIM delivery and attend coordination workshops
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and coordinate designs
- Provide technical support to the wider team and mentor earlier-career colleagues
- Implement BIM Execution Plans, information requirements and project delivery standards
- Leverage digital tools, automation and innovation to improve project outcomes
- Experience with reinforced concrete detailing is advantageous
Key requirements
- Strong background in structural delivery of complex projects across all design stages
- Deep knowledge of Autodesk Revit (model setup, modelling and drawing production)
- Strong communication skills and ability to report to engineering leads and collaborate across teams
- Professional qualification (e.g., IStructE or ICE EngTech) or higher, or working towards
- Curiosity to adopt new technologies to improve design and delivery
- Experience with Autodesk Forma is an advantage but not essential
- Experience with fabrication-level reinforced concrete detailing is advantageous
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D may be advantageous
