The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive Senior BD Coordinator to join our Transport Portfolio team and play a key role in delivering winning bids. You will manage Arup’s full bid lifecycle—from planning and coordination through to submission—helping produce high quality, compelling proposals that showcase our expertise. This role offers excellent professional development within the UKIMEA BD community and access to a global network of proposal specialists.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate end to end bid production, including bid programmes, strategy workshops, planning sessions and reviews
- Track progress, manage deliverables and work closely with stakeholders across the business
- Draft and refine content, including case studies and CVs
- Maintain bid libraries and project collateral
- Build strong relationships across sectors to deepen understanding of clients, markets and opportunities
Is this role right for you?
- Degree in marketing, business or related field (APMP desirable)
- Experience in bid coordination/writing within the UK construction or professional services sectors
- An understanding of bid processes and governance
- High proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint; CRM experience a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail, clear written communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A collaborative mindset and the drive to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
