We partner with Arup to support their contingent recruitment processes. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.
On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Systems & Change Specialist (Oracle Taleo) for an initial 6 month contract based remotely within the UK.
Purpose of the role: This is a chance to make a significant, tangible impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our global recruitment function. Working closely with the Global Head of Candidate Experience, under day-to-day supervision provided by Senior TA Specialist, you will be the go-to specialist for Oracle Taleo enablement, adoption, and continuous improvement - connecting recruiter needs with system capability and ensuring changes land well across our global Talent Acquisition community.
In this role you will help drive a structured pipeline of enhancements by supporting process mapping, impact assessment, testing, release readiness, and change communications. Working closely with recruiters, TA operations, HR stakeholders, and technology partners, you'll translate requirements into practical improvements, strengthen governance, and build confidence in how we use Taleo and associated reporting tools.
What you'll do:
- Lead adoption, enablement & communications: Design and deliver training, guidance, and release communications for Oracle Taleo changes; maintain user resources and provide expert support to help our global TA community adopt new ways of working.
- Support governance & the change delivery lifecycle: Coordinate and support the Change Request (CR) process end-to-end - intake and triage, requirements, impact assessment, testing/UAT support, release readiness, and post-change feedback - ensuring enhancements align with business priorities and are implemented in a controlled, well-communicated way.
The skills you'll need:
- We're looking for someone who is passionate about improving how Talent Acquisition works - combining excellent recruitment systems expertise with a practical continuous improvement mindset and a focus on change adoption.
- A proven track record of at least four years in a TA systems, HR systems, or HR operations role, with deep functional expertise in Oracle Taleo (configuration, workflows, user support and troubleshooting).
- Demonstrable experience in data management and visualisation, with good skills in building and maintaining reports and dashboards - using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) - to support KPI tracking and improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven success partnering with recruiters and HR professionals in a complex, international organisation - able to translate impacts and benefits, build buy-in, and support smooth adoption of process and system changes. Previous experience as a recruiter would be a plus.
