The Opportunity
We are looking to grow our team of client‐facing solution and data architects. Our architects specialise in translating requirements into designs for sustainable digital solutions and supporting their development by our software engineering teams. You will work on assignments related to solution architecture, data strategy and technology project delivery. Your tasks will normally include the design of new digital products and solutions directly for clients. You may also support solutions that we develop to complement our building engineering and design services from time to time. The solutions you help to deliver will comprise technologies such as cloud services, data integration and analytics (including AI and ML) and GIS applications.

Is this role right for you?
We're looking for candidates who:
- Have worked in one or more of the following Built Environment markets: Energy, Water, Rail, Highways, Aviation, Buildings and Sustainability
- Have delivered technology projects or products in an IT function, IT services or IT consulting environment
- Have a thorough comprehension of one or more of the following areas of architecture practice: Solution architecture, Data architecture, Cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), Integration architecture, Enterprise architecture
- Have knowledge of business analysis, digital requirements management and project management techniques. In particular, you have experience writing non‐functional requirements (NFRs) and you know how to manage risks and dependencies
- Have background within the software development life cycle and are familiar with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and have worked with the Government Digital Services Framework (GDS Framework)
