Overview
In this role you will lead the delivery of major, complex building projects within Arup’s Programme & Project Management team. You will guide multidisciplinary design teams, monitor progress, and manage client relationships across life sciences, education, healthcare and other sectors. You will also advise on governance, contracts and commercial risks to ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex building projects for private and public clients
- Run project meetings, monitor progress and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams
- Manage contractor performance throughout the lifecycle
- Administer contracts with clients, partners and suppliers
- Develop and maintain client relationships; identify and mitigate reputational and commercial risks
- Support governance processes, business case development and gateway approvals
Key requirements
- Demonstrable project management experience delivering complex building projects
- Experience across design, procurement and construction stages
- Degree in a relevant discipline and membership of a professional body (APM, RICS, ICE, RIBA, CIOB)
- Knowledge of advisory/consulting, bidding and cross-functional services
- Experience managing client and stakeholder engagement in large/complex environments
