Senior Bid CoordinatorArup is a multidisciplinary firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists working across every aspect of today\’s built environment. We are looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator to support our PS&I (Property, Science, Industry & Technology and Social Infrastructure) portfolio in developing winning bids.

OpportunityIn this role you will coordinate the bid process from start to finish, contribute to the drafting and editing of bid responses and collateral, and support the production and submission of high‐quality bids and proposals. You will work across multiple business sectors in the UKIMEA region and collaborate with bid teams and external partners following Arup\’s 12‐Step work‐winning process and APMP best practice.

Key Deliverables

Coordinate the full bid lifecycle, including bid programme development, win strategy sessions, answer planning and gateway review sessions, submission and post‐bid lessons learned.

Monitor bid progress, deliverables and programmes; track and liaise with stakeholders and the bid team.

Draft, edit and review responses to non‐technical questions, including case studies.

Maintain libraries of bid materials and project collateral.

Act as a bridge between the UKIMEA Business Development team and business sectors, attending meetings, building relationships, and developing knowledge of sector markets and opportunities.

Requirements – Key Qualities

Competitive drive, dedication to challenging deadlines and strong time‐management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Experience of bid coordination and drafting, ideally within the UK business sector or a professional services context.

Understanding of bid governance processes.

Familiarity with or membership of APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals).

Ability to communicate work‐winning priorities and strategies.

Capacity to handle large volumes of information, plan workflows, and brief stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset and resilience under pressure.

Personable, collaborative, and resilient approach.

Creative communication skills and a willingness to work with colleagues to produce compelling, compliant submissions.
