On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Reinforced Concrete Detailer for a 6 months contract based in London. Please note that this role is going to be hybrid.
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
What you'll do:
- Work across Structural and Infrastructure disciplines.
- Work closely with Senior RC detailers in the office to facilitate project delivery.
- Support the team in producing high quality data-rich 3D models to produce reinforcement drawings and schedules.
- Work closely with engineers to produce reinforcement drawing packages on projects through to construction.
- Mentor junior staff with reinforcement drawings and help them to understand and interpret RC Intent drawings.
- Have the opportunity to experiment with 3D rebar modelling to understand the best workflows for algorithmic modelling.
- Have an opportunity to train and further develop your BIM and Digital capability.
- Use multiple pieces of 3D and 2D software.
- Be a part of a flourishing team with exciting possibilities.
The skills you'll need:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Reinforced Concrete Detailer.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Tekla user.
- Proficient with rebar sets and rebar groups.
- Experience with Trimble Connect, Revit, AutoCAD.
