The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Project Manager on a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract to join the Global Finance PMO, leading the successful delivery of workplace projects across our portfolio. Working closely with Real Estate leadership, project sponsors and cross-functional teams, you will oversee refurbishment, fit-out, relocation and office improvement projects from concept through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled project professional with a strong background in Real Estate and workplace delivery who thrives in a structured, governance-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of workplace projects, including refurbishments, fit-outs, relocations and office upgrades.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, risks, governance documentation and reporting.
  • Support project feasibility studies, business cases, options appraisals and project initiation activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across Real Estate, Workplace, Digital Technology, HSEQ, Finance and Procurement functions.
  • Manage external consultants, contractors and delivery partners, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, budget, programme, quality, sustainability and compliance requirements.
  • Support procurement and tender processes, contract administration and defect management activities.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement, communications and change management throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure successful project handover, close-out, lessons learned and transition into operational use.

Is this role right for you?

You will be a highly organised project manager with experience delivering Real Estate or workplace projects in complex operational environments. You'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing projects from initiation through to delivery, handover and close-out.
  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, budgeting, risk management, reporting and governance.
  • Experience delivering workplace, fit-out, refurbishment, relocation or built-environment projects.
  • Knowledge of Real Estate delivery frameworks, including feasibility, business case development, procurement and project governance.
  • Understanding of RIBA stages, CDM requirements, HSEQ principles and sustainability considerations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Power BI or similar.
  • Experience with JCT contracts, contractor management and tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of workplace design, construction, architecture, engineering or Real Estate project delivery.
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple locations or regions.
