Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 80 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
As part of our continued investment in digital delivery across the natural and built environment, we are looking for an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support geospatial analysis, visualisation and information management. You will help consultants, designers and engineers confidently access, understand and apply geospatial data at project scale, enabling us to deliver timely, data-driven insights for clients across infrastructure, energy, cities and environmental markets.
You will deliver high-quality geospatial analysis, develop spatial models, produce compelling visualisations and advise multidisciplinary teams on the effective use of geospatial information. This includes managing spatial datasets, integrating them with wider project data and contributing to evidence-based recommendations for clients.
You will join a supportive and collaborative team of more than 50 geospatial professionals, with opportunities to grow through clear career pathways, mentoring and continuous learning. At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.
You will have the opportunity to do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.
Is this role right for you? We’d like to hear from you if:
- You hold a relevant undergraduate or master's degree in a relevant subject, such as GIS, Remote Sensing/Earth Observation, Geography, Geoinformatics or Environmental Science; or bring equivalent industry experience with demonstrated professional growth and continuous learning.
- You have technical experience with geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online.
- You can develop spatial models, manage spatial datasets and produce clear visualisations using tools such as Esri Experience Builder, Power BI, ModelBuilder, FME, Python, SQL Server or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- You can translate business or engineering needs into meaningful maps and spatial insights, communicating technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
- You bring strong time, task and project management skills, a collaborative mindset, sensitivity to client needs and curiosity for emerging digital and geospatial technologies.

Guided by our values, we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success. As well as competitive, fair and equitable pay, we offer a career in which all of our members can belong, grow and thrive – through benefits that support health and wellbeing, a wide range of learning opportunities and many possibilities to have an impact through the work they do.
We are owned in trust on behalf of our members, giving us the freedom, with personal responsibility, to set our own direction and choose work that aligns with our purpose and adds to Arup’s legacy. Our members collaborate on ambitious projects to deliver remarkable outcomes for our clients and communities. Profit Share is a key part of our reward, enabling members to share in the results of our collective efforts. We also provide Private medical insurance, Life assurance, Accident insurance and Income protection cover. In addition, you’ll have access to flexible benefits to help you look after all aspects of your wellbeing and give you the freedom and flexibility to find the best solutions for you, your family, and your individual needs.
