The OpportunityDue to ever an increasing pipeline of work, we are looking for a recent graduate to start or further their career in environmental consultancy and join our UK air quality team. The successful candidate can be based in one of our offices where we already have a wider air quality team presence, namely: You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects among different sectors including energy, aviation, infrastructure and advisory. On a daily basis, you will work alongside our experienced consultants and undertake air quality assessments, from informing design to fulfilling regulatory requirements and accompanying planning applications. You will provide a key role supporting and assisting with all aspects in project delivery, as well as communicating and liaising with clients (internal and external) regularly. Subject to project requirements, attendance at site visits is also to be expected. Essential qualifications and experienceA Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant subjectStrong interest and knowledge of air quality and environmental mattersStrong problem-solving initiativesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated and a team playerStrong organisational skills and able to work to deadlines. Desirable experienceExperience in delivering air quality assessments and the use of dispersion modelling software such as ADMS, AERMODProficient in geographical information system (GIS)Experience in digital tools such as PowerBI, OpenAir and Python for data interpretation and visualisationMember of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) or Institution of Environmental Science (IES)***Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
