As part of the Fusion programme, we are implementing Oracle Cloud HCM, including the Oracle HR Helpdesk module. We are seeking a Change Analyst to support the transition to the new system and ways of working for all our impacted colleagues, within People Services and throughout the organisation. There will be a big shift to self‑service for all Arup members, who will be able to access help via multiple channels and benefit from a robust knowledge base, secure data handling and intelligent routing of inquiries, and it is critical that the change activities to support this shift are delivered effectively and efficiently. This is a fixed term contract role for 2 years initially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Change Impact and Readiness
    • Understand and input into change impact assessments to provide clarity on what is changing, for whom and to what degree.
    • Support change management and training activities to ensure successful adoption of the Helpdesk and knowledge tools.
    • Develop supporting documentation e.g. journey maps and training materials for people services users.
    • Give input to business readiness criteria for go‑live and verify readiness at cutover.
    • Support hypercare to ensure successful service transition, providing training support where appropriate and measure adoption and satisfaction rates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Identify, analyse, and segment stakeholders affected by the transformation.
    • Monitor stakeholder sentiment and feedback to inform change planning.
    • Work with People Services leadership to ensure consistent, aligned messaging.
  • Communications
    • Create clear, user‑focused communication materials including briefings, newsletters, FAQs, and updates.
    • Support the design and delivery of engagement sessions, demonstrations, and events.
    • Ensure communications are timely, accessible, and tailored to audience needs.
  • Change Planning & Delivery
    • Support the Change and Engagement Lead in maintaining the programme’s change plan, risk logs, and dependencies.
    • Provide input into programme reporting and governance packs.
    • Coordinate change activities and ensure alignment with project milestones.
    • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and feedback loops where required.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Gather insights from stakeholders and end users to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Support benefits realisation tracking and lessons learned reviews.
    • Promote a mindset of continuous improvement within People Services.

  • Experience working in HR technology implementations (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow HRSD).
  • Knowledge of People Services operating models and shared services.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to align diverse interests.
  • Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit during periods of higher‑than‑normal workload.
