Overview
In this role you will lead and oversee delivery of major infrastructure projects and programmes within Arup’s Programme & Project Management function. You’ll work with clients across sectors, shaping delivery strategy and aligning Arup’s capabilities to client needs. You’ll manage diverse project teams to achieve high client satisfaction and contribute to large-scale, often politically nuanced programmes with a net-zero and city-wide transformation focus. This is an opportunity to influence complex built environment programmes and collaborate with Arup’s experts to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Responsibilities
- Lead management and oversight of all aspects of project and programme delivery across a range of projects
- Act as day-to-day project manager representing Arup on diverse projects
- Support major project delivery and business development activities for clients in the infrastructure sector
- Advise clients on project delivery strategy and assemble multi-disciplinary teams to meet client requirements
- Lead project teams to deliver work to high standards of client satisfaction
- Deliver complex-built environment programmes across energy, water and transport from development through delivery phases
Key requirements
- Degree in engineering, architecture or project/construction management (or similar)
- Professional accreditation/certification such as APM in the PPM environment
- Experience developing new client relationships, identifying opportunities and winning new project work
- Strong client relationship management and ability to align Arup capabilities to solutions
- Experience with NEC3/4 or bespoke construction contracts
- Experience working on politically complex programmes and navigating organisational sensitivities
- Experience deploying digital tools and systems in the delivery of complex programmes
