In the role, you will work with a wide range of internal and external collaborators and stakeholders, including thought leaders in their fields. Typical clients include government agencies, local councils, port owners/operators, financial institutions, contractors and public sector bodies.
Your responsibilities will range from design activities to project management tasks including:

- Project commercial management including monitoring progress and costs against programme and budget.
- Team planning and resourcing requirements and management of deliverables through active collaboration with supporting disciplines.
As part of the role, you will assist others through technical collaboration as well as mentoring and developing less experienced members of the team. Adequate support will be provided to enable this.
We are seeking the below skills and knowledge:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (BEng/MEng/MSc).
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.

- Experience producing technical documentation (reports, calculations, drawings, specifications).
- Knowledge of physical modelling and metocean/wave/sediment transport analysis.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
- Ability to manage small projects or work packages and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Interest in delivering maritime and port infrastructure projects.
