Our clients include local authorities, government agencies, contractors, developers, utility providers and transport organisations. As part of Arup’s wider UK and global network, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines and regions, bringing together diverse perspectives to solve complex engineering challenges.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across civil engineering, structures, transport planning, geotechnics, architecture, environmental services and digital teams. We value individuals who enjoy working across disciplines, building strong relationships and contributing positively to team culture.

At Arup, professional development is a core part of our culture. You will be supported through mentoring, structured development opportunities and exposure to a wide variety of projects and clients. We are committed to helping our people grow, whether that is through technical specialisation, project leadership, digital skills or chartership progression.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions
  • Producing technical designs, drawings and reports to a high standard

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery
  • Experience using design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD or similar packages
