The Opportunity
Our Transport team in the North develops transport solutions to address changing travel patterns, emerging technologies and the challenges presented by climate change. Arup is playing a lead role with a range of clients to design transport infrastructure for the future; from major highways projects to multi-modal transport solutions and active travel improvements.
We play a key role in large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. The team is involved in projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept stage through to detailed design and construction, for a wide range of both public and private sector Clients.
You would be involved with:
- Geometric alignment design
- Sustainable drainage design
- Building intelligent 3D models
- Contributing to client and stakeholder engagement
- Contributing to project and design management
Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- A Levels / BTechs (or equivalent)
- Working towards an Undergraduate / Bachelor's level (or equivalent) - Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or Structural Engineering
- Experience of using modelling software such as Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads during university studies
