The Opportunity
We are looking for an AV Consultant to join our growing Acoustics, Audio Visual and Theatre practice, supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary audiovisual design across arts, sports, commercial, and experiential business areas globally. Our team operates at the intersection of technical design, creative industries, and building design, contributing to projects ranging from performing arts venues and cultural master planning to workplace, broadcast, education, and experience-led environments.
The successful candidate will support technical delivery across a wide range of projects, developing their skills in audiovisual design, performance space planning, and integrated technology systems within a highly collaborative and design-led environment.
The role offers an opportunity to:
- Support the design and delivery of AV systems across multidisciplinary projects, contributing to technical design, planning, documentation and coordination.
- Build experience across the full project lifecycle, from early concept design and planning through to site engagement, installation and commissioning.
- Contribute to research, ideation and concept development, helping shape innovative, client-focused design solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture, building engineering, planning, lighting, IT and other specialist teams in a highly cross-disciplinary environment.
- Help deliver engaging, technology-led environments that bring together audio, video, spatial and functional design.
- Support bids and proposals, gaining exposure to client engagement and the commercial side of consultancy.
- Develop your skills through mentoring, structured learning and hands-on involvement with experienced practitioners.

Is this role right for you? We're looking for a candidate with:
- A relevant degree level education or industry exposure (e.g. internships, placements, or early career roles) to AV or live event systems in a professional context.
- An active interest in audio-visual systems design, performance space planning, or experience-led environments across arts, commercial, sports, or cultural sectors.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and design information.
