The Opportunity: On this 10-12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals on real-life meaningful projects, adding value to clients while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects, and social events that will support your learning and development.

Our growing team of civil engineers and apprentices deliver projects for a variety of clients and organisations including government agencies, local authorities, private developers, contractors, and utility companies. We work on varied, exciting and often high-profile projects in the fields of flood risk alleviation, river engineering, water and wastewater, and sewerage systems.

  • Developing drawings and models using AutoCAD or Civil 3D
  • Applying Excel for measurements, calculations and costing
  • Preparing specifications for surveys or construction of solutions
  • Reviewing survey deliverables against specifications
  • Supporting design to deliver solutions
  • Drafting technical reports
  • Conducting site visits for data collection and visual surveys

Is this role right for you? For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
  • Skills and experience in Microsoft Office and Auto Desk Civil 3D.
