Graduate Geospatial Specialist (Arup)

Arup invites applications for the Graduate Geospatial Specialist position (ID 5879). This role offers a unique opportunity to join our Geospatial discipline and work across a variety of national and global projects.

Opportunity

You will work within a technical delivery team across the geospatial and digital services portfolio, delivering meaningful and impactful projects. Day‑to‑day tasks include GIS support for data management, manipulation, visualisation and automation. You will develop core GIS and enterprise skills and may pursue research opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support GIS data management, manipulation, visualisation and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on major infrastructure, strategic and master‑planning projects.
  • Develop and refine geospatial workflows and deliverable outputs.
  • Investigate and apply emerging geospatial tools and technologies.
  • Document deliverables and maintain project records.

Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Earth Observation, or a related field.
  • Strong technical GIS skills and familiarity with enterprise GIS platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to work on complex spatial data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present results to diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for spatial data and the impact of place‑based understanding.
