Our Economics and Casemaking team sits within our Cities, Planning and Design (CPD) portfolio and provides strategy, research, planning, and consultancy services to a range of high-profile clients. We work across transport, urban mobility, economic development, energy, water, science and innovation. The role involves working on projects requiring a range of quantitative and qualitative skills, as well as the ability to effectively support client relationships and work as part of integrated project teams.

We’re looking for the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
Qualifications and Skills
- An undergraduate degree in economics (achieved/predicted minimum of 2:1, or equivalent) or Master’s degree in economics, urban development / geography, business, or a numerate discipline where you have learnt the essentials of economics.
- Numerical proficiency, research and analytical skills: you can analyse data, undertake qualitative research and synthesise information.
- Team working: you are an enthusiastic person, passionate about collaboration and bringing people together around a shared idea.
- Communication: you are able to communicate effectively, with an ability to deliver clear and concise written documents and present key findings effectively.
- IT proficiency: You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint. Useful but not required: econometrics, statistical analysis, data visualisation and publishing skills.
