Graduate - Building Services - BIM Engineer MEP - London

The Building Services Building Information Modelling (BIM) team is at the centre of excellence within Arup for producing exemplary design drawings and 3D models within a BIM environment to exacting standards. This team is undergoing continuing growth and development as it continues to win major work in the industrial, education and commercial sectors.

If successful you will support the BIM team and Engineers with collaborative production, management, sharing and exchange of all information and data during the delivery phases of building projects. You will be joining a technical delivery team with a varied and potentially challenging workload. Day to day tasks will include BIM development for information and asset management, data manipulation and visualisation, and automation. You will have the opportunity to use 2D and 3D data developing your core BIM and Modelling Software and Multi-disciplinary modelling and coordination.

Support and implement automated technologies to deliver projects. Utilise, interact with and manage Arup Common data environments. Assist delivery in accordance with project BIM documentation. Utilise digital survey and reality capture data, such as point clouds, lidar, photogrammetry etc to support design and delivery.

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

• A bachelor's degree in relevant academic discipline, such as BIM / Building Services, Architecture; Construction Management; Digital Engineering.
• General understanding of construction techniques.
• Experience using 3D parametric modelling software.
• Experience in preparation of drawings from 3D models.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to co-professionals, contractors and clients.
• Proven success of working in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
• Technical skills such as experience of: An understanding of how building services are coordinated and installed, general understanding of construction and associated techniques.
• Ability to use Revit, Navisworks, or experience using 3D parametric modelling software.
• Experience preparing drawings from 3D models.

• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
