Overview
In this Industrial Placement, you contribute to ground engineering projects that shape the built environment. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to assess site constraints, develop ground models, and support design decisions in early project stages. You’ll gain exposure to ground investigations, earthworks, foundations, and tunnels while communicating findings across stakeholders. This role offers hands-on experience in total design and impactful projects aligned with sustainability goals. You’ll be supported to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Assess site constraints and ground conditions to inform early-stage design
- Analyse ground investigation data to derive ground models and design parameters
- Represent Arup on site during ground investigations and construction activities
- Deliver integrated solutions by collaborating with other disciplines (Total Design)
- Prepare and communicate findings through written and verbal reports at various project stages
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related field
