The Finance Business Services PMO supports a global change program across Finance Business Services which in turn supports the wider Global Finance strategy. The role is critical in working with the Group Head of Finance Programmes in supporting finance business services owners in delivering strategic finance change projects that impact finance systems, processes and ways of working across Finance Business Services and the wider business.

The Opportunity: As the Finance Systems and Process Business Analyst, you will be part of an experienced project management and transformation team reporting into the Finance PMO office. You will work closely with Project Managers and transformation specialists in delivering critical activities that contribute to the successful execution of the finance change program, e.g. process mapping, data analysis, modelling, reporting, communications including development of materials for project boards, training support, documenting and mapping processes and facilitating project related workshops.

The role will be responsible for supporting Finance Business Services in the delivery of global finance systems and process related projects on a day-to-day basis. We're seeking an experienced finance business analyst to gather and translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions, collaborating closely with delivery teams and stakeholders. With a deep understanding of finance processes, systems, and data structures - including validations, completeness, and mapping - you'll interpret and present data clearly and effectively.

Working alongside subject matter experts and project managers, you'll facilitate workshops to capture and prioritise requirements, ensure clarity on deliverables, and support feasibility analysis and business case development. You'll contribute to project discussions, define metrics for success, and partner with delivery teams to document finance process flows, system environments, and user interface needs. A key part of your role will be supporting user acceptance testing and helping drive system improvements and process optimisation. You'll also play a vital role in change projects such as process re-engineering and software upgrades, working with business owners to improve data integrity and support budget tracking.

Additionally, you'll maintain accurate RAID documentation, manage dependencies and risks, and bring innovative thinking to ensure efficient and scalable solutions are delivered with impact. Is this role right for you? We're looking for people who:

  • Have experience delivering in a financial environment complex analysis, process maps and problem solving.
  • Have a strong knowledge of finance business processes and systems, together with expertise of business analysis to produce, analyse and document requirements as well as identify risks and inter-dependencies of internal systems.
  • Competent in mapping processes from Levels 1 to level 4 and validating with business process owners and have experience with workflow analysis and process modelling.
  • Have deep knowledge and experience in interpreting transactional data relating to finance process flows, providing supporting analytics for business case development, mapping and tracking data flows in complex systems environments.
  • Strong awareness of change management requirements including working closely with business process owners and other stakeholders to create training manuals and other communications and reporting materials.
  • Applies expert knowledge of Business Analysis principles and requirements gathering for the development and design of multiple components or activities relating to internal processes and systems.
