The Opportunities
We are seeking to receive expressions of interest from experienced Town Planners throughout the UK! This is an exciting time to join Arup. We are experiencing significant growth in our planning business so are looking for talented and experienced town planners to join our national award-winning town planning team, delivering some of the most complex and challenging projects throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new chapter at Arup and help us grow our business.
Our Senior Town Planners work on a wide range of infrastructure projects including energy, water, road, rail, ports, airports etc. from project inception through to delivery on-site. We provide a holistic service to meet the aspirations and needs of developers, communities, local planning authorities and central government. As winners of the RTPI’s Planning Excellence Awards in recent years, our clients expect us to provide innovative, professional and reliable advice.
We are seeking Senior Town Planners across a range of experience levels. If you offer extensive experience, including team leadership, we have opportunities available that align with your expertise. We have offices throughout the UK and can offer flexibility on which office you choose to work from on a hybrid basis.
We are interested in speaking with individuals at all levels of seniority who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Degree and/or masters in town planning or similar such as geography.
- Good knowledge of planning legislation and planning policy.
- Ability to articulate complex issues, write reports, present effectively and manage client relationships.
- Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
- Development Management.
