The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated, experienced Electrical Engineer who has demonstrated their technical excellence in the field of building services and is looking for the opportunity to join a dynamic team with real potential for progression. The role requires a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively within teams, maintain commercial awareness throughout project lifecycles, and consistently deliver high‑quality technical engineering work. The ideal candidate is career‑driven and committed to supporting the development of our graduates and technicians.

As part of a collaborative team in London, this opportunity will give the right candidate ownership of their project work, and the responsibility and freedom to manage tasks and plan their work. The team is currently involved in the delivery of a number of local, national and international projects that include commercial, residential, retail and science sectors.

Our current and recent project portfolio includes:

  • Residential and social infrastructure projects: Ebury Bridge Estate and East Village;
  • Rail building projects: Euston Station, Bond Street Elizabeth Line Station and HS2;
  • Airport projects: Heathrow and Athens International Airport;
  • Commercial developments: 8 Bishopsgate; 90 Long Acre; 1 Embankment Place;
  • Culture and mixed use projects: UCL East Marshgate, The Royal Opera House and Selfridges Department Stores;
  • Decarbonisation projects & net zero strategies: various clients and portfolios;
  • Technical electrical infrastructure studies: locations of national strategic significance.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is working towards being a Chartered Engineer (IET / CIBSE) and holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant subject.
  • Holds a solid track record in electrical and MEP Building Services Engineering, is proficient in the use of Trimble (Amtech/ProDesign), Dialux, and other electrical design software and is familiar with BIM Environments such as Revit &/or MicroStation.
  • Has skills and experience in designing from first principles, as well as in the design of systems such as high and low voltage (HV/LV) distribution, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, security and access control, electrical systems for renewable energy & earthing.
  • Understands relevant British Standards and industry best practice so that their project designs are realistic and practical when it comes to installation and use.
