The Opportunity
Are you passionate about active and sustainable travel? At Arup we provide expertise across all project areas from strategy and planning to design and engineering. We develop active travel policies and strategies, design cycle and walking infrastructure, analyse accessibility and inclusivity, and advise on behavioural change, bike sharing and wayfinding.
We are seeking a diverse and experienced individual who can demonstrate transport planning, active travel, behaviour change and project management capabilities. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have a strong interest in the Planning, Design and Consultation of active travel schemes and who can demonstrate relationships with key stakeholders and work winning success in this field.
The successful candidate should be able to work under clear instruction and independently, with a track record of winning, managing and delivering quality outputs aligned with project deadlines. In particular, the candidate should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the local markets within Scotland.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of an existing strong Cities, Planning team.
