Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for HV and EHV cable design across AC/DC, overhead, and underground systems
- Define and enforce best-practice design standards for HVAC and HVDC projects
- Oversee detailed designs and lifecycle delivery; approve designs
- Drive continuous improvement and lead rigorous technical reviews
- Mentor and develop junior engineers; lead design teams
- Support tendering with technical input and cost-optimisation strategies
- Lead new technology initiatives and contribute to industry forums

- Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer status essential
