Arup is seeking Landscape Architecture Graduates to join a growing team of landscape architects across the Midlands, Southwest and Wales. Positions available at the Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff offices with a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Design landscapes from the wider strategic scale down to the finer resolution of planting schemes and construction detailing.
- Conduct visioning and feasibility studies, develop concept designs, and produce technical detail design of landscape and public realm projects.
- Prepare report writing and layout documents, and communicate design intent to stakeholders and team members.
- Use a range of design tools including hand sketching, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT, Rhino, ArcGIS and MS Office.
Qualifications
- Degree and/or a postgraduate diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture or a related subject such as Architecture, Geography or Environmental Science.
- Confidence in designing landscapes across multiple scales and detail levels.
- Understanding of Landscape Architecture spanning landscape design, management and planning.
- Exceptional design skills in baseline information, visioning, feasibility studies, concept design development, report writing and layout.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the profession and a systems approach to shape a better world for people and nature in balance.
