The Opportunities
We’re looking to receive expressions of interest for Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Principal Engineers to join our Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) discipline within the Intelligent Mobility team. You’ll help design and deliver cutting-edge ITS and operational technologies across highways, tunnels, and bridges—enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Our work spans the full lifecycle: from early-stage design and integration to construction support and independent engineering. Projects include major UK infrastructure such as the Lower Thames Crossing, Silvertown Tunnel, and Smart Motorways, as well as international assignments that apply UK expertise globally. You’ll collaborate with specialists in systems engineering, communications, and traffic technology across Arup’s Highways, Energy, and Digital practices.
