We're looking for talented Civil Engineers at mid and senior levels to join our Energy, Water and Site Development teams across Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and Nottingham. Whether you’re ready to lead projects or further develop your expertise, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas, experience and unique perspective truly matter. We are in exciting times with an exceptionally strong and growing pipeline of work.

In Water you will be involved in many of our major frameworks with water utility companies, helping to provide reliable, potable water and safely discharge treated effluent to the environment, as well as assisting national clients in maintaining existing aging assets, protecting natural ecosystems and addressing climate‑change pressures. In Energy you will work on major projects such as the Great Grid Upgrade, critical to decarbonising our electrical supply and achieving net zero for the UK. In Site Development you will support local property developers and national or international projects across a range of schemes. At Arup, sustainability is central to everything we do; you’ll be empowered to influence projects from the outset, helping clients make informed decisions that balance technical excellence, environmental responsibility and long‑term value.
