Our Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship allows you to study for industry-recognised qualifications whilst earning a competitive salary. As an apprentice, you will study with a training provider, such as a university, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace. Your study pattern could be day or block release, or via distance learning, depending on the course that you enrol on. A dedicated mentor will guide you through your personal and professional development. Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships have a typical duration of 3–6 years, during which you will attain both a professional and academic qualification to further your career. Our apprentices are employed on a permanent basis, so you will continue to progress with Arup once you have completed your course.
We are looking for Project Management Degree Apprentices to join our team. From your first day, you will join an unrivalled community of experts, where everyone is supported in their career path and encouraged to work towards an accredited qualification. You will work with project managers in the management of projects from the beginning through planning, development and handover. This will involve developing your consultancy skills, contributing towards detailed plans for the delivery of projects and overseeing progress during implementation. The projects you will work on will be developing our city regions and providing vital infrastructure for future generations. You will be working collaboratively with teams of specialists to solve complex problems, assisting with the preparation and management of contracts and coordinating project resources. The projects can be very varied in size, location and complexity, involving highways, bridges, airports, ports, rail schemes, major buildings and site development projects in the UK and internationally.
As an Apprentice, Arup will develop your competencies in the following areas:
- Project control
- Risk / opportunity and issue management
- Budgeting and cost management
- Information management and reporting
- Communication
- Teamwork & collaboration
- Client focus
- Managing project scope
- Managing project schedule, quality and resources
- Problem solving
These skills will be developed through practical on-the-job training, working with experienced commercial and project managers across the business and academic training. You will be assigned a mentor and buddy within your team who you will work and liaise closely with in your day-to-day work.

To Be Eligible For An Apprenticeship, You Must:
