The Leeds Building Engineering Services team work on a wide range of projects, including:
- Commercial - Wellington Place (new build offices).
- Office fit-out designs for several high profile organisations.
- Higher Education - Leeds University Sir William Bragg building, Leeds Beckett University, Creative Arts Building and University of Bradford, Learning & Teaching centre.
- Healthcare - Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
- Residential - Mustard Wharf, Modular Homes.
As an Electrical Services Engineer you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering Team, working on multidisciplinary projects while being responsible for the output of graduate Electrical Services engineers and technicians. You will be part of a collaborative team of over 25 engineers and technicians in the Leeds office and a wider 200+ engineers and technicians within the North region.
Key responsibilities:
- Apply your engineering expertise to shape our projects.
- Work in an interdisciplinary environment and aim to design buildings that maximise value for our clients whilst minimising their environmental impact.
- Play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across a number of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, health and mixed-use developments.
- Play a part in the ever-increasing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase our efficiency through automation and to offer new services to our clients through our integrated digital approach to design.

- Are working towards Chartered status through CIBSE, IET or other relevant body and degree qualified with a Masters Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Have experience in the Electrical Services Engineering design on a range of project types.
- Possess strong design and technical skills.
- Enjoy working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary design teams, contributing to projects from inception to completion.
- Have good planning and organisation skills.
- Exhibit excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to demonstrate commercial awareness and starting to develop working relationships with external team members.
- Are committed to their own professional development and looking for challenging work to develop their engineering skill.
- Have a passion for design and an enthusiasm for architecture and sustainable building design.
- Can demonstrate technical aptitude and experience in design analysis software.
- Have experience of working within a BIM environment using Revit beneficial.
