We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking for technically challenging work on cutting‑edge projects, to join our established Building Engineering team. In the Midlands we continue to win major work in the industrial, education, transport and commercial sectors as well as low‑and zero‑carbon buildings and retrofit and refurbishment.
The diversity of workload and strength of client links has meant strong growth over the last year and a need for some new team members. The team are currently working on exciting schemes ranging from complex manufacturing facilities for blue‑chip industrial clients, major transport buildings, buildings supporting the transition to green energy and university buildings, all the way through to smaller structural retrofit projects in our local towns and cities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join our creative and friendly Midlands group. Our work focuses on technical buildings for which engineering drives the overall building design. We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer who is looking to provide designs for a wide range of projects (new build and refurbishment) including manufacturing, rail, hospitals and healthcare facilities, data centres, education, energy, and commercial projects. We deliver cutting‑edge projects with a strong focus on sustainability which helps facilitate the transition to net‑zero carbon.

What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrates a passion for structural engineering, a flair for structural engineering design, and a practical understanding of buildings.
- Enjoys working collaboratively in multi‑disciplinary design teams.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to communicate through sketching, drawing, presentations and writing.
- Collaborates with other members of the structural team to produce drawings, specifications and other deliverables of high quality, on time and to budget.
- Degree qualified and striving to achieve Chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers in the next few years, committed to their own professional development and looking for challenging work to develop their engineering skill.
