This opportunity will span all elements of the global marketing function and would suit an enthusiastic and energetic graduate with an interest in climate change & sustainability. We are seeking two candidates with an interest in the below areas that can support the teams in their marketing activities.

The graduate marketing specialists will sit within the global portfolio marketing team, which creates and executes marketing plans and activities to help build Arup's profile, reputation and influence around the world across its range of markets and services. You will work collaboratively with marketing colleagues and stakeholders in the business to curate and deliver compelling market-leading campaigns and content. The role is highly varied and will enable you to gain experience and exposure to a wide range of marketing initiatives. Activities include content creation (including but not limited to case studies, thought leadership, social media posts, web copy), coordinating our attendance at events and webinars, identifying, selecting and submitting entries for global industry awards, copywriting, proofreading and the evaluation of activities and campaigns. Is this role right for you? For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • Degree level qualification (a marketing degree is not a pre-requisite for application – we welcome applications from disciplines including humanities, sciences and social sciences)
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing
  • Proactive and collaborative outlook
  • Commitment to developing copywriting skills; creating persuasive and engaging text
  • Detail oriented with good proofreading skills (English as a first language is not a requirement)
  • Highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities, taking ownership for the planning and delivery of defined activities with limited direct supervision
  • Flexible team player, able to work across multiple projects and teams
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
