On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join the team on a 6 month contract based in London. It will be a hybrid model. Purpose of the role: The Technical Business Analyst will support the delivery of Arup's Automated Developer Platform, working within a Platform-as-a-Product model. The role will act as the bridge between developers, engineers, and business stakeholders-ensuring user needs are translated into clear, actionable, and value-driven requirements that enable scalable, secure and self-service software delivery across Arup What you'll do: Gather, define and manage functional and non-functional requirements, translating user needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Maintain a prioritised, execution-ready backlog, ensuring alignment with automation, self-service capabilities and platform standards. Engage with developers, users and stakeholders to identify pain points, facilitate workshops, and understand platform usage and needs. Collaborate with Product Managers and Platform Leads to align requirements with platform strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmap priorities while championing product-led and Platform-as-a-Product ways of working. Model business processes, workflows and user journeys, identifying dependencies across tools, environments and delivery lifecycle stages. Support Agile delivery by refining requirements, enabling effective planning and execution, providing clarification to teams, and using KPIs, feedback and usage data to drive continuous platform improvement and maximise business value.
