Job description - the role
AMS is the world’s leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Sustainable Project Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract based in Bristol. It is a hybrid model.
About the Opportunity:
Building on previous supplier engagement, this role will oversee the development, delivery and co-ordination of a new programme to engage Arup's top suppliers. It will understand and support our suppliers in setting Net Zero and emissions targets to ensure alignment with Arup's own Net Zero Strategy. It presents an opportunity to make a tangible impact on our sustainability agenda.
You will make an impact in this role by...
- Developing a supplier tracker and keeping it updated as project progresses.
- Analysing data and creating reports to update the project.
- Managing the project across workstreams and coordinating the project team to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
- Identifying Arup staff that have relationships with suppliers and engaging them across the business.
- Developing communication materials to engage suppliers.
- Conducting engagement with suppliers and answering questions and queries.
- Researching and developing solutions and business cases for supplier support / training / tools which Arup may adopt.

- Experience of managing projects or can demonstrate managing different workloads to meet deadlines.
- Motivation and ability to work remotely to achieve the project goals.
- Experience in sustainability and/or procurement roles, or an interest in sustainability (could be from work and education or own personal interests).
- Attention to detail, diary management, attending meetings (internal and external) taking notes/actions/minutes.
- Good analytical skills, including being proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Enjoy engaging and communicating with different people and audiences, including working as a team and conducting meetings and presentations to staff and suppliers.
- Ability to prepare documents and reports for internal or external purposes, proofreading content to ensure consistency and style, editing and making suggestions for improvements to text and presentations, preparing draft PowerPoint presentations.
