Job description - the role

Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.

On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Reinforced Concrete Detailer for a 6 months contract based in London. Please note that this role is going to be hybrid.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

What you'll do:

  • Work across Structural and Infrastructure disciplines.
  • Work closely with Senior RC detailers in the office to facilitate project delivery.
  • Support the team in producing high quality data-rich 3D models to produce reinforcement drawings and schedules.
  • Work closely with engineers to produce reinforcement drawing packages on projects through to construction.
  • Mentor junior staff with reinforcement drawings and help them to understand and interpret RC Intent drawings.
  • Have the opportunity to experiment with 3D rebar modelling to understand the best workflows for algorithmic modelling.
  • Have an opportunity to train and further develop your BIM and Digital capability.
  • Use multiple pieces of 3D and 2D software.
  • Be a part of a flourishing team with exciting possibilities.

The skills you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Reinforced Concrete Detailer.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Tekla user.
  • Proficient with rebar sets and rebar groups.
  • Experience with Trimble Connect, Revit, AutoCAD.
