We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer for a 6 Month Contract based in Cardiff.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in civil engineering design involving earthworks, streets, active travel, public realm, drainage, utilities and flooding.
What you'll do:
- Design of civil engineering elements across a wide variety of exciting projects.
- Collaborative and creative approach to finding solutions.
- Work with others in the team for defined parts of design projects and individual projects, ensuring quality and accuracy of work.
- Present design options and solutions, working with clients, customers and colleagues to generate mutually agreeable outcomes.
- Use of a relevant CAD package (AutoCAD, Civils 3D or MicroStation CAD packages or similar) for design.
- Interest in BIM, Digital automation and/or conducting design in a 3D or digital environments as well as Digital Design processes.
The skills you'll need:
- Suitable Civil Engineering Degree in line with a technical specialism.
- Master's degree, in a relevant field, would be preferred.
- Demonstrable experience within the field of civil engineering.
