- Travel Coordinator for a
6 month contract based remotely.
May have to attend office occasionally, locations are: Manchester,
Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds , Edinburgh, London, Leeds, York, Nottingham, Bristol, Cardiff.
Purpose of the role
As a Business Travel Booker, you will provide a comprehensive travel booking service, supporting travellers and travel bookers across the business by arranging efficient and cost-effective travel solutions at both UKIMEA regional and cross-regional levels as required.
What you'll do
- Receive and process travel booking requests, ensuring all requirements are accurately captured.
- Source and recommend suitable travel options using online booking tools and approved travel partners.
- Coordinate and confirm travel arrangements, ensuring bookings are completed efficiently and in line with business needs.
- Provide support for travel-related queries, liaising with internal stakeholders, travel agencies, and external service providers as required.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies, guidelines, and procedures, providing advice and guidance to travellers.
- Escalate complex travel issues and booking challenges where appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, adopting a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
- The skills you'll need
- Previous experience booking international business travel, including air, rail and accommodation arrangements.
- Proficiency in using online travel booking tools and systems for flights, hotels and rail travel.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support stakeholders through face-to-face, telephone and digital communication channels.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across travel bookings and itineraries.
- A flexible, approachable and practical mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
- Confident IT skills and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and technology.
