We help organisations adapt, grow, and thrive in an ever-evolving world by building, shaping, and optimising diverse talent strategies. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer for a 6 Month Contract based in Cardiff.

We are looking for candidates with experience in civil engineering design involving:

  • Earthworks
  • Streets
  • Active travel
  • Public realm
  • Drainage
  • Utilities
  • Flooding

We have a very vibrant infrastructure team and are looking for someone who has the same passion and enthusiasm about engineering and the whole environment to come and join us.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design of civil engineering elements across a wide variety of exciting projects
  • Collaborative and creative approach to finding solutions
  • Working with others in the team for defined parts of design projects and individual projects
  • Checking the quality and accuracy of your own work
  • Use of a relevant CAD package (AutoCAD, Civils 3D or MicroStation CAD packages or similar) for design
  • Interest in BIM, Digital automation and/or conducting design in a 3D or digital environments as well as Digital Design processes

Qualifications:

  • Suitable Civil Engineering Degree in line with a technical specialism
  • Master's degree in a relevant field would be preferred
  • Demonstrable experience within the field of civil engineering
