Worth Abbey is looking for an Organ Scholar to play for liturgies at Worth Abbey, to complement the offerings of the existing rota of highly-skilled and devoted professional organists. They are seeking a highly motivated organist who is keen to develop their accompaniment and repertoire skills, particularly within the context of a Roman Catholic environment.
It is envisaged that this position may best be suited to a postgraduate applicant, although applications from strong gap-year and undergraduate organists will be considered.
The position is available initially for one year (renewable for a further period of up to one year by mutual agreement). The Abbey offers flexibility in terms of time off, where holidays can be arranged in advance. On-site accommodation in a shared environment is offered.
