Are you looking to start your planning experience within Development Management? We are looking for a Planning Officer to join our team. Whilst this is a career graded post we are looking to appoint at the lower end of the grade. The successful candidate will also receive a yearly market supplement of £6,350 per annum (subject to review).
You will work in the Strategic Team where your focus will be dealing with applications relating to the post approval stage of major developments. In the Minor Applications Team your focus will be determining householder and similar applications.
We offer an opportunity to develop your skills, join a supportive and friendly team, and the chance to shape and better the built environment within Arun. The job is based at the Civic Centre in Littlehampton and this will be your contractual job location. However, it is likely there will be some working from home and so will need an appropriate space to work from.
Interviews are scheduled to take place remotely via MS Teams on 16 July 2025.
