Join Arun District Council’s Housing, Wellbeing & Communities team as a Technical Officer. Arun District Council is looking to improve and transform its housing services and create a better future for our residents. We are seeking a Technical Officer to lead a critical transformation within our Repairs and Maintenance service, setting a new direction and driving positive change.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality housing services that make a real difference to our residents. You will support the delivery of responsive and planned repairs across our housing stock, helping ensure excellent performance, value for money, and customer satisfaction.

The role combines office-based work with regular site inspections, giving you variety and the opportunity to directly impact service quality. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our housing stock meets legal and regulatory requirements, while introducing best practice and innovative approaches to service delivery.

We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, proven experience in managing housing related repairs and maintenance service and the ability to manage complex repair works as well as contractors. You will be confident in making decisions, engaging with residents and stakeholders and delivering solutions that make a real difference.
