We are looking for a hardworking Chef de Partie to join our team. Our kitchen can get extremely busy, so having previous high volume experience is preferred.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must:
- be a team player
- be able to communicate well with others
- be professional and reliable
- be presentable & have awareness of personal hygiene
- have excellent food & hygiene standards
- be adaptable and flexible with the demands of the role
- have excellent time management and organisational skills
Main Duties:
- Assist the kitchen team in daily preparation and cooking of food
- Serve and prepare food promptly and professionally
- Maintain a good understanding of menu options
- Responsible for taking and recording food/fridge temperatures
- Inform Head Chef of food supplies required
- Ensure equipment is functional and cleaned to high standards
- Coach and support less experienced chefs
- Maintain all Health and Safety measures
Skills & Experience Required:
- At least 1 years' experience working in a similar position
- Must be able to speak and understand good English
- Food hygiene level 2 (preferred)
