About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated lecturer in Horticulture to join our interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, innovative teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
Building on a long history as Horticultural educators, we seek applicants who can contribute to our forward-looking vision and produce graduates ready to meet current sector challenges. We value a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and student skill development through problem-based scenarios and embedded co-creation. An interest in the economic, social, and environmental value and use of plants, trees, and urban green spaces would be advantageous. We focus on developing students\' integrated thinking skills and their ability to make valuable contributions to the industries we serve, securing a pipeline of future horticultural talent.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a PhD or Masters in Horticulture or a closely related subject.
- Experience working within the Horticultural sector and/or environmental horticulture research is desirable.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum design, research development, and external partnerships.
