Our client is a Principal Contractor established in August 2010. Their team is committed to delivering value, quality, and excellence in everything they do. They deliver high-quality refurbishment and construction services across commercial, residential, and public-sector projects. From full building renovations to modern interior fit-outs, they manage every stage - design, planning, and construction - to transform spaces efficiently and sustainably.
They are now looking for a Commercial Assistant / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis at their office in Brentwood, Essex.
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Start Date: Within a few weeks of a successful interview
Benefits: Company pension with contributions
The Role
You’ll support the commercial team with a strong focus on:
- Procurement and tendering processes
- Scope analysis and take-offs
- Negotiating with subcontractors
- Assisting in cost management across projects
